Lyndsay has twelve years of experience working in Initial Teacher Training, nine of which were as a Director of Teacher Training for two highly regarded SCITT providers.

The strength of her leadership in school-based programme delivery was recognised by Ofsted:

‘Highly effective leadership has developed teacher training programmes that regularly produce excellent teachers who are skilled, very committed and reflective practitioners.’ Ofsted 2018

During her career she has led the training of over 600 teachers and has a proven track record in creating and delivering new routes into teaching including flexible and part time routes, a highly regarded SEN specialist programme, a route for staff in the Independent Sector and the DfE Maths and Physics Chairs initiative. 

Lyndsay is passionate about the Inspiring Future Teachers (IFT) vision to offer an exceptional teacher training programme, with collaboration at its core, that has the benefits of national expertise but still retains a local focus allowing all IFT schools to train teachers to meet the needs of the children in their communities.
