Andy is an experienced educator who has been a Subject Lead, Lead Practitioner for English, Drama, Media and Film for over 20 years, with a strong background in ITT.  Having worked as a Senior Mentor and Induction Lead, across London with large MATS, he currently works with GLF as an Induction Mentor and Visiting Fellow for the Ambition Institute,  leading teacher training conferences and clinics, alongside a coaching for coaches clinic for ECT Mentors. 

He possesses a wealth of knowledge about teaching methodologies and educational theory. His years of experience in the field have equipped him with an understanding of the challenges faced by new teachers, their mentors and the support they require to thrive in their roles.

Moreover, Andy is passionate about professional development and believes strongly in the importance of ongoing learning and growth, having successfully completed his NPQLTD. As a lead mentor, he is committed to providing high-quality support and mentorship to aspiring teachers and coaching to mentors, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to excel in their careers.
