Darren has taught Computer Science and led his departments for over 20 years at GCSE and A Level and is also an accredited Oracle Academy Instructor. He has mentored a multitude of GTP, SCITT and PGCE trainees. Working as an ITT Lead, he supported newly qualified teachers across a range of departments to successfully complete their NQT/ECT years. In his role as the Computer Science Secondary Hub Lead for the West Sussex and Hampshire computing hub, he supported 160 secondary schools with their computer science teaching and training needs. Darren is a certified STEM Learning PDL Lead and has delivered a wide range of computer science training to teachers nationally.
