The opportunity to support continuous provision for teachers right from their Initial Teacher Training (ITT), through their induction period as Early Career Teachers and beyond is invaluable. The exciting partnership between The Kite Academy Trust and GLF Teaching School Hub enables us to do just this. Teachers will be supported throughout their induction by specially-trained visiting fellows who will guide them along their journey from novice to expert teachers and leaders.

Across all of our academies, there is a vast range of experience in leading Initial Teacher Training and delivering high-quality continuous professional development as well as designing and successfully implementing an ambitious, inclusive curriculum that is accessible for all pupils.

As part of Inspiring Future Teachers, our Kite Teacher Training hub will offer all the benefits of being part of a large national programme whilst at the same time providing locally-delivered, school-based training in The Kite Academy Trust infant and primary academies. We are able to offer placements across EYFS, including nurseries, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. 

Our goal is for all trainee teachers to be equipped with the training, experience and support necessary to be successful and thrive, not just in their training year, but throughout their career. At The Kite Academy Trust, we know that staff well-being is crucial.
